Here, age is the least important label. The youngest trainee is only 3 years old but has already learned to break the water with tender arms; their goal is to become the next Quan Hongchan, the next master of the "rip entry" standing on the Olympic podium.

On the uneven bars, a ponytailed girl under 1.2 meters tall practiced leaps and catches repeatedly. Her arms showed clear muscle definition from the exertion, yet she landed light as a feather.
"One minute on stage takes ten years of practice off stage." What we call genius is simply having 'try once more' carved into their bones.
